Our Cats
in London

We periodically fly some of our cats to London to be fostered by our Team Leader there, Dora Casali, so that they can be viewed before adoption. The flight and preparation of these cats is funded by the adoption fees of previous cats who have found their new home in the UK . Therefore adopters will incur the same fee as for ones flown direct from Cairo.

The cats which we are considering flying to London to take up a new home are listed below.

Please note our cats in London usually find homes very quickly. If you are interested in one of these cats please contact us to reserve it so that you can be sure it's yours. Otherwise there is also the possibility that it may be adopted in Europe or North America.

NOTE All the cats below are now reserved but more will be on the way. Please look at the main adoption pages of this website and if you are interested in a particular cat let Dora know so that it can be considered for inclusion in the next group of arrivals.

We strongly recommend that you read our Cat Breed Blogs to understand the history and characteristics of your chosen cat. None of our cats have pedigree papers as there is no formal registration system in Egypt

BASBOSA (RESERVED) Shirazi (Persian) mix Born 2021

BASBOSA is a three and a half year old Shirazi/Persian mix, in fact one of the rare Shirazis which have the original Mau markings (see our Blog). Her body has not grown in proportion to her headsize so she's like a kitten still but she is a healthy, polite and very cute cat. She has never scratched, hissed or bitten.
Like all Shirazis, she has beautiful fur but does not need the maintenance of the longer-coated ones. Also like them she loves to be hugged and to sleep beside them. She is delicate, gentle and calm around people and other cats and will stroke your face with her paws.
She is microchipped, spayed, vaccinated FIV/FeLV tested and ready to fly to her new home.

GAMILA (RESERVED) Shirazi (Persian) Born 2021

GAMILA is our sassy and cheeky girl very eager to get to know you. Which usually doesn’t take too long and after a few trips to give you a sniff she just keeps coming back for more. She enjoys her fuss and a good cheek rub and even tries to reach out and grab you, so you don’t leave. This charming fluffball knows exactly what she wants and would welcome a quiet home where she can find her feet and show off her loving nature. She would probably be OK to live with older teenagers as she will need a calm, considerate home in which to really flourish. Gamila enjoys human company and she is looking for a home that can give her lots of love and affection as once she settles she will became very attached to her human. She would also not mind the company of another non dominant feline to share her home.

KALUSHA (RESERVED) Shirazi (Persian) Born 2022

KALUSHA was dumped after his owner's sudden death and her children decided to surrender him to our shelter.
He is very affectionate and will follow you as though he is your shadow.
He doesn’t mind being around other cats and sometimes he plays with kittens and grooms them
He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative.

MISTY (RESERVED) Shirazi (Persian) Born 2021

Beautiful MISTY is a one and a half year old Shirazi (Persian)
Our sweet girl Misty is a very affectionate girl and, like all Shirazis, very laidback and cuddly. But she is very playful too.
She is a lap cat who will follow you everywhere.
Misty is microchipped, spayed, vaccinated and FIV/FeLV tested so ready for her new home.

PEARL (RESERVED) Shirazi (Persian)/Turkish Angora mix Born 2023

PEARL came to us as a kitten last year in a terrible state as is apparent from her before and after pictures which are available on Facebook.
As well as being beautiful she is super affectionate and will play with other cats and small trained dogs,
She carries two of the Angora traits which are 'odd eyes' and deafness but the latter doesn't interfer with her relationships with humans. It does mean however that she will need to be rehomed as an indoor cat or in a home with a catio or secure garden for safety reasons.
She is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and FIV/FeLV tested so ready to begin her next adventure overseas.
She is to quote one admirer 'magnifique'.

PUMPKIN (RESERVED) Shirazi (Persian) Born 2023

PUMPKIN came to us in November last year at the age of six months. She had been dumped by her owner who threw a bucket of water over her when she tried to return home.
She is a truly beautiful example of a Shirazi (Persian) whose coat colour reflects her name and, like all Shirazis, she is laid-back and loves cuddles from humans. She is also amazing with other cats so could join a multi-cat household.
Pumpkin has just joined our adoption list. She is spayed, microchipped and in the process of vaccination to enable her to fly to her forever home.
Judging by her beauty I think there might be quite a queue lining up to offer her a new home.
