We already showcase our Cats of the Month in our Newsletter but we felt it important to remind you of some of our residents who have now been with us for years. Some may not be as instantly beautiful as Shirazis, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what they lack in conventional beauty they make up for in personality and resilience. Some bear the scars of a hard life on the streets or, like Gogo, were abandoned either because they were born with disabilities or because they had kittens. All would love a home where they are a very special person. We ask you to take a look again and see whether you, or someone you know, could offer them their forever happy place. If you feel you could then please get in touch by emailing us at

GOGO is an Egyptian Domestic Shorthair* who is blind in one eye
She is three and a half years' old and was found in the street with her kitten Talia. Her other kitten was run over in front of her
She has now developed a cataract on her other eye so her vision is limited.
She is extremely smart and cuddly with humans and gets on well with other cats.
She would, however, need to be adopted as an indoor cat and with no more than a couple of feline companions.
Gogo is otherwise healthy, fully vaccinated, microchipped and ready to fly from Egypt to the UK/Europe or North America at any time.
Could you be the special person who becomes her new owner? Our members who have adopted blind cats have found the experience particularly rewarding.

If you would love to adopt Gogo but circumstances don't permit you can help her by sponsoring her for just £25 a month. This will provide her with food, shelter and veterinary care. Contact us on the email above and we will explain how to do so. Thank you in advance for considering this.
