We already showcase our Cats of the Month in our Newsletter but we felt it important to remind you of some of our residents who have now been with us for years. Some may not be as instantly beautiful as Shirazis, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what they lack in conventional beauty they make up for in personality and resilience. Some bear the scars of a hard life on the streets and for others, like Jackie, their survival is a miracle to say the least. All would love a home where they are a very special person. We ask you to take a look again and see whether you, or someone you know, could offer them their forever happy place. If you feel you could then please get in touch by emailing us at

JACKIE has now been with us for four years and she is truly a miracle cat.
When she was a tiny kitten, she was thrown from a fourth floor building and everyone expected her to be paralysed for life .
With expert care and lots of love, Jackie has regained the use of her legs, can run and walk like a normal cat and to look at her you'd never know now that she'd had such a horrible start to her life.
She gets on well with other cats, dogs and humans but she will need a special caring owner because her injuries left her unable to control her pee or poop. There is surely someone out there who is willing to tolerate this 'inconvenience' and make her part of their lives. She certainly deserves the love of a forever home after all she's achieved.
If you would love to adopt Jackie but circumstances don't permit you can help her by sponsoring her for just £25 a month. This will provide her with food, shelter and veterinary care. Contact us on the email above and we will explain how to do so. Thank you in advance for considering this.
